Eco Friendly Ethos

We are passionate about reducing our environmental impact. Wherever we can we have made the environmentally friendly choice.

The shampoo and body wash is from Milly and Sissy. It comes to us in as a powder in a home compostable sachet. This saves on shipping the water content of these types of products. As soon as a good equivalent comes available from Australia we will switch, but for now this comes from The UK.

The hand wash and our cleaning products are from Tirtyl. Their ethos is to reduce the amount of plastics we use.

The Conditioner is from our local Maleny Co-op on Maple Street, plastic free in a recycled container.

Coffee from Urban Brew Australian owned compostable pods.

Milk from Maleny Dairies. The cows are across the road. I also make the butter in the hamper from their cream. I learnt how when I worked for Trevor at Cedar Street Cheeserie you can find him at Witta Market, Noosa Farmers Market or Powerhouse Market. Trevor taught me all I know about making butter!

Our nut milk option is from Ulu Hye it comes as a paste reducing the weight of transporting water. It also allows us to make what we need with no waste.

Most of the bedding under sheets are from Blessed Earth also on Maple Street. Organic Cotton from India made under the GOTS standards.

The toilet paper comes from Who Gives A Crap.

The majority of the furniture, fittings and trinkets are either repurposed, or sourced second hand.

The studio has its own rain water tanks and the waste is all treated on site. Solar panels are fitted on our garage to aid with electricity consumption.
